Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-13

The short version

Two categories of cookies on cyphera.io — strictly necessary (consent state, docs-portal session) and analytics (page-view metrics, off by default). No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

You can manage your choices any time by clicking Manage cookies below or by deleting cookies in your browser.

What we set

Cookie Category Set by Purpose Expires
pcmp_consent Strictly necessary PhotonCMP Stores your consent choice. 12 months
cyphera_session Strictly necessary Cyphera docs portal Keeps you signed in to the docs portal. Session
ph_* Analytics — opt-in PostHog (via t.cyphera.io) Distinguishes anonymous visitors for page-view metrics. Set only after you accept analytics. 12 months

Who else sees the data

The strictly necessary cookies stay in your browser and are read only by this site.

The analytics cookies’ data is sent to PostHog (proxied via t.cyphera.io) under the standard Data Processing Addendum between us and them. See the full Privacy Policy for the subprocessor list.

How to manage your cookies

On this site: click Manage cookies any time to reopen the consent panel.

In your browser: every modern browser lets you view and delete cookies per-site (in privacy settings).

Across the web: the Global Privacy Control signal is honored. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as opting out of analytics regardless of your stored cookie choice.

What if I do nothing?

If you neither accept nor reject the banner, we treat that as a reject. No analytics cookies are set, and PostHog stays opted-out.

Changes

If we add or remove cookies, this page changes. For material changes (adding any category that requires consent), we’ll re-prompt the banner with the updated choices.
